When we got to the Forbes Park Lagdameo homestead, Tito Riquit who was ready to rally suggested we just go out to eat. Quito and I agreed and we decided to go to Terry's on Pasong Tamo Extension. This is the main branch of the restaurant and we have eaten here in the past. I wasn't so hungry but since I very rarely get a chance to eat with Tito Riquit and Quito, I just went with the flow.
gambas al ajillo

Big clean-tasting and very fresh shrimp swimming in lovely garlic infused oil crying out to be mopped up with bread. This isn't a classic for nothing, you know.
angulas al ajillo

Turned out these are Quito's favorite--for those who don't know, angulas are like very small eels. Very flavorful and a crazy huge amount. And quite good. In the following weeks I had this a couple more times but this was the best of them all.
callos

Catalan beef tripe stew. Gummy in that way it gets and long cooked. I have had better but this hit the spot.
Tito Riquit at Terry's

Tito Riquit is looking old and tired actually, perhaps from going out every night campaigning for Monique. Either that or he is drunk with all the super rich food we had just consumed.
